Research Paper:
1. Do you think your writing has improved overall by doing this paper? Explain.
Of course my writing has improved by doing the research paper. Every writing that I do helped me to improve my writing skill. In this case, because I had to paraphrase, my vocabulary and my level of language have improved while looking for other words. I learned many new words, even I do not use them all the time.

2. What are some of the skills you improved in while doing the paper?

How I already mentioned, my writing has improved, but also my reading and my speaking.
By reading all this articles and the chapter on the book, I learned how to read more quickly and efficiently. To survey is a very important step on reading. It helps me to have a general overview of what the article is going to be about and to select the most important information. I definitevely believe that my reading has improved .

3. How do you feel about your paper?
I very happy and pleasant with my research paper. Maybe is not as good as a paper made by a professional in the field( because is very scientific), but I think the reader is able to get a lot valuable information about anemia disease even from my paper.

Presentations
1. Did you enjoy listening to the presentations.
Ohh yes!!!! Everyone has done a very good job and prepared very well the presentation. The presentations were all very different and I learned a lot from all af them. This helped me to improve my knowledge in many fields.

2. What did you learn about presentation techniques while listening to them.
I learned that doesn't matter the method you use to present, a very important element for a successful performance is eye contact but also the tone of voice. Looking at all the people in the audience, makes every person to listen more carefully. If the presentor looks only at some people, the others will lose their interest and get bored.

3. What did you learn during the process of preparing for your presentations?

I leraned that is very important to control your stress and that the tone of voice and the command of the subject are very important. If you know very well your information and you understand what you are talking about, the others will understand too.

4. Were you satisfied with you own presentstion?
Yes, even I do not use power points, which it seems to be very useful for a good performance, I believed that my audience got some good information about anemia disease. Anyway, I tried to do my best.

I believe you improve some skills by doing this project. By the way, your presentation was really good.

Skyscrapers

The term "skyscraper" was used in 1880; after the first tall buildings were build in the United States. But the history of tall buildings dates back hundreds of years in the Middle Ages were engineers have engaged in a battle for the sky.

Before there were towers made of heavy stone. Towers had thick walls and the rooms were dark and overcrowded. Windows weren’t very common, it could disadvantage the structure.

With the discovery of the steel begin the new era of modern skyscrapers. The Home Insurance Building in Chicago was the first tall building to be made on a steel skeleton of vertical columns and horizontal beams.

New structural designs made skyscrapers even lighter and stronger. As skyscrapers get taller and taller, engineers were faced with a new problem: the wind. Today's tallest skyscrapers, which are almost 1,500 feet tall, must be 50 times stronger against wind than the typical 200-foot buildings of the 1940s.

Skyscrapers represent the big issue for the population explosion in our days. In my opinion skyscrapers is a good think because it permits to locate a big number of people in one place into the profit of green spaces that can be saved.
